Wineries We Work With

We work with all the wineries in Napa and Sonoma! What's important is matching you with the experiences you are dreaming of.
Can I tell you which wineries I want to go to?
Yes, but we can't guarantee they will be available. During the booking process, you will be able to tell us the wineries you would like to visit. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to get you reservations at specific wineries, but if it is possible, we will. If we can't, we will give you an explanation of why. The most common reasons we can't book you into specific wineries include: they are booked already for that day, they are closed on that day, they don't offer the type of experience your package includes, or they are outside the price range for the package you selected. If they are outside the price range, you can choose to add it to your package at the additional price. We will contact you if that is an option. If they simply don't offer the experience your package includes, we will also let you know and if you the option to go there anyway.

How are the wineries chosen for each package?
We have a vast database of wineries that includes locations, pricing, experience types and much more. When you book a package with us, we take into account where we will be picking you up, how long it takes to get to each winery, the experience types you are looking for based on the package you selected, which wineries are available on the date of your tour and pricing. From that, our travel advisors reach out to the wineries that fit your package and begin to find available reservations.
Can't I just plan a wine tasting tour on my own?
According to the Alcoholic Beverage Control of California, there are approximately 1,700 registered wineries in the greater Napa and Sonoma Counties. That's a lot to choose from. If you want to research the wineries on your own, we recommend visiting the list of wineries on the Napa Valley Vintners Association website. For Sonoma, check out the list of wines on the Sonoma County Vintners page.
Every winery offers different options. Some are open 7 days a week, while others are not. Some require that you make an appointment. Fewer and fewer wineries allow you to just stop in to taste. Most wineries will not accept reservations for groups of larger than 6 to 8, but some will overlook that rule for a trusted partner such as Uncorking Wine Country.) Not every winery allows you to bring food to eat there and few offer food options while you taste.  Most wineries offer different types of tasting flights and experiences but not every experience is offered every day they are open. If you want to taste specific types of wines, you have to research what each winery offers and if they are pouring the wines you want during that time of year. Winery tasting appointment times fill up quickly at wineries, especially during the summer and fall, on weekends and during holidays. The pricing of tasting also ranges from $35 to $500 per tasting!

Why should I book with Uncorking Wine Country?
Trying to book a day of tasting requires a lot of research and patience to make sure you can get tasting times spread out during the day with enough time to get to each winery while also fitting in some lunch.
Uncorking Wine Country has done all of this research for you, so you just book online with us and take the stress out of planning. We allow you to request to visit specific wineries, but we cannot guarantee an appointment. If we cannot reserve a requested winery for you, we will explain why. If it is a matter of the pricing at that winery being too expensive for the package you have chosen, we will let you know so you have the option to pay more to taste there if you want.
